32 Weeks

This has been a few days coming.....but here's the 32 week picture!  Aaron and I have had a lot of fun being together while he's on vacation from work.  Christmas Eve was great, with our traditional dinner at Daniels.  We stopped by to see some lights in Cary and they were great!  Earlier in the week we ended up getting our stroller thanks to Aaron's parents and Ellie sure enjoyed riding around in it   Christmas brought us to Fayetteville with Aaron's grandparents and aunts, uncles and cousins.  They were so thoughtful to throw us a baby shower and we...

31 weeks

Well, this week has been great!  We had our OB appt, and all is looking well.  The most exciting part, though, was getting to see our little girl!  18 weeks was the last time we had an ultrasound and boy did she look different this go round!  They estimated her weight at around 3 1/2 pounds, and head down!  Wahoo I am in awe that God has entrusted this precious babe to Aaron and I.  May I always remember she is His.  Starting Monday Aaron will have off work until the New Year and we are looking forward to spending...

A few firsts

Just a few things to document for myself, really.  But a couple things happened this weekend that hadn't before in my pregnancy. In my "belly book", the journal I'm using to document this pregnancy, there is a question that reads something like: first time someone gave you their seat on the bus, or let you to the front of the line b/c of your growing belly.  Well, for some reason I was convinced I wouldn't have that opportunity, mainly b/c I don't ride busses and the restrooms have so many stalls there's hardly ever a line.  Well, yesterday at Target it...

A new front number....30 Weeks!

Wow....time is flying.  Here's my 30 week picture.  Just realized it's the same shirt I was wearing last week.  It's been unseasonably warm here in NC and since I planned on this whole winter pregnancy, I have 2 short sleeved shirts, and you're lookin' at one of them 30 Weeks

RIP Old Nano...Hello New Nano

So Saturday morning saw the death of one nano, and the birth of another in the Quirk household. I was beginning my walk on the treadmill like I always do, when I dropped my nano as I was placing it into my arm band.  I figured, no problem, it will just drop off the back end.  And then I heard the end of its life.  It seems instead of dropping itself off at the end of the treadmill, my nano decided it wanted to continue the ride, all the way around to the front again.  Only, instead of coming back...

29 weeks

Not much to report here....except I'm trucking along at 29 weeks!  Here's this week's picture!  Baby girl sure is growing! 29 weeks

Week 28!

Hello Everyone! Though tomorrow I suppose I'll be positing a pic of my 29th week I thought I'd share one from week 28.  I took this picture at my grandparents home on Thanksgiving.  I know it's a bit dark, but I think it'll do!  New milestone for this week:  hiccups!  How precious it was to wake up and feel our little girl in a bran new way! With a little less than 3 months left until we meet baby girl, I've really been enjoying these sweet moments I get to have with her before she's born.  Though I am SO excited...
